Goin on my honeymoon from Oct 10-17th

What are anybodys suggestions? Dinner places? How are the crowds(should we stay away from the parks on Columbus DAy 11th)? Whats the weather like? I cant wait to go any suggestions would be appreciated. Some info is we are staying at the CBR and got the UPH. Also I am planning on renting a pontoon boat for the wishes fireworks one night.

We went that time last year...couple of suggestions

...go to the MK for one of the Halloween parties

...try to avoid MK the 10th and 11th...quite crowded and slows down rest of the week

...weather was great...we had rain as in heavy showers one night that passed in 1 hr...temps mid 80's, was warm enough for shorts at night...kids wore a sweatshirt/ light coat in early morning a few days...did not get cold at night

what else you want to know?

should we do disney quest? Water Park? or just not do anything?

I think that anywhere besides MK would be OK...EPCOT, AK, MGM etc....many people come into MK for the long weekend that are "locals"....

First of all - Congrats!!! Hope you have a fabulous wedding and magical honeymoon. Oct is a beautiful time of year to go. DH and I got married on Oct 12th and honeymooned at WDW. It was a first-time visit for both of us and we were just instantly addicted! Now we return to WDW during our anniversary every year that we can.

My only big suggestion (which was mentioned above) is to stay away from MK on Sunday and Monday for the holiday. Other than that, the crowds usually are very maneagable.

There are tons of great restaurants throughout WDW - I would hit the Restaurants Board and see what's up

And dont forget to get yourself some husband and wife mickey and minnie ears!!!!! They are the cutest thing and from what I've heard, you'll be sure to get some extra attention from CMs. Be sure to tell them at your hotel that it is your honeymoon and at any dinner reservations you make as well.....a little extra Disney magic might make its way to you. Some people have really great stories about things Disney has done to make it a very memorable occassion.
