Wishes - depends, do you want to see it from Main Street, then no. But I have watched it from Fantasyland, and from in front of Pirates. You'll hear the music and see the fireworks in the sky.

Evening MK Parade - Frontierland, 2nd parade if you can. Depending on what time of year you go, you can grab a spot along the route after it starts on Main Street. Even if you get there later, many of the spots (with the water at your back) are only 2 or 3 deep, so you can always see.

The majority of parade floats are above shoulder height. Yes, it's great to see the characters who are walking, but most of them are on floats and you'll see them no matter how many people are in front of you. We have only ever waited for the Christmas parade because that's awesome to see at ground level. We hang out on one of the decks at Frontierland (in front of the shooting gallery is a great spot). You can sit on there, grab a snack, and when they put up the ropes, just hop down and stand at the rope. In that area, it's maybe 1 deep for about 6-8 feet. Or you can stand up on the deck and see over everyone else.

Another spot that is worth doing early is at Sleepy Hollow. You can grab a table up against the wall and see the parade come across the bridge from the Hub into Liberty Square. You can grab food, snacks, coffee, funnel cake or bring food from CHH and eat dinner while you're waiting. Nice spot to watch from.

The parks tend to stay pretty secular.

I would argue that there is some pretty heavy duty worship of the almighty dollar. "The Happiest Place on Earth (pssst... bring cash)!"

Btw OP, you might want to take a quick look at the title of the thread - just sayin'.

Wishes: If you don't mind being off-center for the presentation, we enjoy watching from Frontier Land, near the queue for the riverboat.

Evening MK parade: Again in Frontier Land you can usually find a spot on the boardwalk

I haven't see the HS fireworks.

The 'man upstairs' always has the perfect spot! :rotfl:
Sorry OP, couldn't resist. Those darn typos!

MK parade: when we visited in May CMs allowed people to sit on the little wall in front of Pecos Bill's. This was an awesome spot because they did not allow anyone in front of the wall so our view was not blocked by anyone and we were sitting.

We generally watch Wishes from down near the entrance to Main Street. The lights don't go completely off that far down, but you can see the castle and fireworks perfectly with the added advantage of being able to make a quick getaway after it's over. We have never had to stake out a spot here too early.
