Ok last week I asked about the celebrity cooking show...now I am wondering who decided to become a priest on the god or the Girl show? I sat and watched the whole marathon with DD while she was sick on the couch...you guessed it...we missed the end!!!! I can't believe it!! I am so curious.....can anyone tell me the results. Thanks

I thought this was a great show! Ok here we go

Joe: the one who went on the pilgrimage to Canada - decided on the married life. He announced his decision to his whole family all at once and they were just happy he made a decision.

Dan: The one who carried the cross - decided not to decide quite yet and to live in the moment. He wants to stay in college and continue with his youth ministry - he was also seeing Amber again and said he was leaning more towards the married life.

Steve: The one who went to Guatemala - decided on the priesthood - he anounced his decision to his entire congregation. he wants to stay in his home parish - I was kind of surprised he wasn't going to be a missionary.

The other guy was enjoying being a teacher and still dating the girl.

Hope that helps - I bet they'll show it again.
Jenny :)

Joe decided to go with married life. He has not started a relationship with anyone yet although he is interested in starting that phase of his life. This did not surprise me - he seemed like he was considering the priesthood because of parental expectations and I'm glad he didn't go into the priesthool.

Dan has opted to not enter the priesthood at this time - finishing college first and then see where he feels led. He is back into a relationship with Amber (I think that's her name) - previous girlfriend. He still doing the youth ministry gig and very happy. He feel more called to the married life. This one surprised me a bit - I thought he would go to the priesthood.

Steve felt called to the priesthood. I wasn't too surprised by this one either. I am impressed how he could give it all up. He seems like an amazing young man.

And of course Mike announced the previous episode that he was seeking the married life. He and girlfriend Amy (I believe) are still together and seem happy. He seems to really enjoy teaching.

I guess we were typing at the same time.

And we said almost the exact same thing!!!!

I really like Steve and I like how emotional he is. He will be a great priest!

I hope they do more of these.
Jenny :)

Thank you. I was right on 3 wrong on 1. I really thought Dan would be the first one deciding to become a priest. I watched all the episodes in one sitting.......they were good.

Dan surprised me too but I don't think it is over yet for Dan. He is still young, 21, and I just wouldn't be shocked if he elected the sacrament of vocation in the future. He does seem to love his girlfriend but I think there is something missing in that relationship, though they both seem like wonderful young people.

I think the most amazing part of the series was not only how great the young men were/are but how great theirr girl friends were/are. Watching the show gave me a sense of hope about our young people. I truly wish them all well because I think they were all wonderful young men.
