From one Ashley's mom to another, since everyone else has addressed the issue of God's will in hard times I will just tell you of a saying my sister has kept on her refrigerator for something like 18 years. She hand wrote a note that says "Tough times never last but tough people do". Hang in there AM, things will get better.

Sometimes life sucks! But you just have to live through it and wait for better times! I'm so sorry you are having the problems you are now. It does get better! Ashley's Mom I hope you talk to your family doctor about how you are feeling. Depression can bring on all sorts of feelings. A dear friend is now on Zoloft and it has been a miracle(non addicting) drug for her. Hugs.

First of all a few more {{{hugs}}} for you.

God does see the bigger picture when sometimes we can not. I know this is true as I lived through a very tough time a few years ago and my life and my faith in God are stronger now than they have ever been. Some of the tough times make us realize how special life really is. I now have a calling from God to enter the ministry and if I had not been through the times that I experienced, I would have never been prepared for this step. I only tell you this because when I was going through the bad part in my life, I would have never imagined that things would get better. I am happier now than I have ever been.

I would encourage you to pray. Pray hard. It works, it really does.

I will also say a prayer for you and your dear family. I hope that things will start to get better for you very soon.

God is with you and he will sustain you. He will help you through this tough time.

I'm so sorry you are going through the things you are going through. It is very hard not to question God's wisdom during times like these.

I have been there, believe me. I have a quote, which I live by. "Only eyes washed by tears can see clearly." When the sorrow and sadness clears, I have found, in my life anyway, things are a little clearer, things have more meaning, life is so much more special.

We may never know the reason for God's actions in our lives (at least not in this life anyway), but I believe 100% there is a reason for whatever pain and suffering we bear.

Being that I'm going thru my own private "you know what" right now with my mom suffering from cancer, I can certainly relate to your misery. PLEASE, lean on us, lean on your friends or family who love you very much to help you through this. I also went to my Family Doc & he gave me some antidepressants which really helped me get through a horrible time. I'm better now & off the medicine & cope as best I can. As a close girlfriend said to me during one of my really "dark" days "keep your chin up to the Lord! "

I'm sure you're a wonderful mom to your Ashley, so don't even go there!
