God finally did it!!! Long

Six months ago I was a mess!! I was not working at all, my parents were paying all my bills and I just did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I mean I have a degree but I was so depressed all the time it was crazy. I remember thinkiing one night, "You know, this all could change in the blink of an eye!! In a split second God could make every dream you ever had come true for you."

I got the job I so desperately wanted. I found the man of my dreams and we are getting married in April, and now I am moving to a new state into an awesome apartment. I just thank God for his grace to get me through all the tough times. I feel so blessed!!

I am moving this weekend and for the first time in my life I am not looking back at the old place and going from room to room remembering memories. I am leaving it all behind and finally moving on.

That's really great. I went through something similar when I headed off for law school...I was so unhappy at home and it seemed like everything was going wrong. I had a dead-end job, no boyfriend (in fact, my man troubles back then were so pitiful I can hardly think of them without sheer embarrassment now) and no feeling of direction.

When I went off to law school, my mother would comment on the things I could do "when I came back." I told her I wasn't going to come back and live with them. And I didn't.

I think they are a little young to really care right now but I am sure they will appreciate the fact that we moved from 1300sq ft. to almost 2000 when they are older.
