I know that this thread may get deleted because it is so sad. I cannot believe that an innocent 26-year old man, who was trying to bring peace to Iraq, was beheaded yesterday by masked men in Iraq.
That is so sad. I saw the video on the news while on my vaca to WDW. They turned the video off moments before the slaying. How did this world get so cruel? Why are we stripping Iraqi men and beating them? Why was Nick Berg beheaded, and why him? He was not even married and did not have any children. He had a whole life ahead of him.
God bless him, god bless his family and friends, and god bless those in deep danger in Iraq.

I am so so sick about this! There is a website that shows the video from beginning to end. Why did I have to watch it? Now, I feel so sick!

Don't let it ruin your vacation! Turn the news off and go have a great time with your family, real life will still be here when you get back. Go escape reality and let the magic take you away!! If you have insomnia go out to the Poly beach and relax, take a stroll, look at the castle.

Now go........don't come back till you're home.

Look at it this way. You still have time to enjoy a simple vacation, while Nick Berg does not. Go ahead and enjoy your vacation for his sake.

Someone once said that "A candle that burns twice as bright can only burn half as long." I believe that this saying can apply to Nick.

May god bless him. I think of him every day and can't imagine the hurt on his immediate family.

I could never watch the video of the entire thing. Just seeing what I did on the CBS news freaked me out and they didn't "show" anything.

His poor family....wish I could do something for them.

From what his family said he was trying to do good and help people as he'd done in Africa earlier. Iraq is a scary place especially for a young Jewish man. I'm so very sorry for him and for his family.
