Goals not met -- Goals to obtain!

I was really hoping to lose enough weight to be able to be an 'honest woman' again by today --- our 21st wedding anniversary! I haven't worn the rings for many, many years -- and since I swayed from my eating plan a bit this winter I will have to wait a little longer. I had them sized larger after having dd19. I will truly rejoice when I can wear them again. I am proud to be my husbands wife and want to show it in this way.

REAL JOYS TO LOOK FORWARD TO.....
By next year at this time (April 24th) I hope to not only be wearing those rings -- but have to get them resized smaller by then! I will be proudly showing my sparkles again for our 22nd anniversary on board the Navigator of the Seas Cruise! I am really looking forward taking the 'new me' to the caribbean.

Good for you! You have such a wonderful outlook on things....sometimes we don't meet our goals at the times we had hoped, but when we do reach them, it will be the best day ever!
You have something to look forward to and something to keep you motivated!!
You can do it......look forward to move forward....if you look back, you might move back...and who wants to do that?!?!?! LOL!!!

Wow, Jody, you and I are looking forward to the same things! I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring since my youngest son was born. He's 25 I really want to be able to wear them again on our cruise in August.

Jody, you have such a great attitude. I, too, find my weight loss too slow for my liking, but it is a loss anyway I look at it. I have always been a slow achiever, but an achiever nonetheless. I have also learned that virtuous quality...patience. I have a more positive outlook on things because of it. As long as we keep moving, well get there. Hmm, sounds like a famous children's story. There is wisdom in there somewhere.

Keep in mind if you can get through 21 years of marriage than this weight loss thing should be no problem. LOL You are a strong women and sometimes we need to adjust our goals to help us "live for today".
