I just noticed your trip counters. We will just be missing each other by a couple weeks for both trips.
We are taking our fall break trip (really just a long weekend this time) after our school systems real fall break this year because DH can not stand listening to me whine for another year about how I really want to see Disney decorated for Christams. This year when it came time to schedule fall break I asked if he wanted to go to
MNSSHP again (it has been part of every October trip before) and he said no.

What? It is usually one of his favorite parts of the trip. Had I missed something? He said no we are going to the
MVMCP. What?

He said last year it was so pitiful to hear me whine about every update, Travel Channel show, etc. regarding Christmas at WDW and that I should book for a time when the MVMCP was going on. Well first of all, I NEVER take my personal days (2) that I get each year. So how am I gonna swing this? He said we will make it a long weekend flying down on Thursday night and fly back Sunday night. What? He loves to fly because our 12-15 hour trip becomes 1 hour 45 min. but does not like what airfare has become. (It is crazy expensive because we are limited on airports.) After I thought about it, it really is the only way we could do it because I work until Dec. 21st this year and there is no way my parents will let me miss Christams at home. Going at Thanksgiving? No thank you I have heard too many stories of it being people stacked on each other, and my mom would give me a major guilt trip if we were not there for dinner. So for the first time ever I am taking 1 of my personal days for the Friday of our trip.
Our Spring break is also different this year because it is much earlier than it has been in the past 5 years.

It is also not paired with Easter this year.

(Say it children-
smaller crowds.) We will be there during St. Patrick's Day too. I have always wondered what that would be like. Maybe we will hit Raglan Road?
(The limited travel times makes sense if you remember that I am a teacher.- One who just had her last day of teaching extended contract Summer School.

I love doing it but it is so hard when some of my teaching buddies are sitting by the pool reading a good book.

I have to remind myself I am enriching young minds.

We are back on contract in 4 weeks so I will suck all the summer fun up I can, between professional development days and home improvements.)
