Thanks, Zakspal! Did I post that I received an envelope from you the other day? I lost track. It was either yesterday or Thursday. Have a great weekend!

yensidrocks - an envie is all ready to going out to you on Monday (gotta love getting the Sunday flyers on Saturday) - it's not "big".. I have been re-routed due to illness and haven't rec'd an envie in 2 weeks... but, have no fear - next week I should be back to normal! Have a great week!

Saved $14 today and only bought a pr. of scissors, nail polish, 2 packs of quilted northern (there's 8-10" of snow coming, gotta stock up!:rotfl2:) and 6 boxes of playtex tampons.

I stopped at the store this AM to see what their Saturday specials were. Came home and searched the Internet for coupons and went back for the TP. It was on sale for $2.16 for the 6 roll double pack and I found coupons for $1.00 off! DH thinks I'm nuts since we already had 2 1/2 packs of Charmin. But who can pass up TP at $1.16??? The tampons were B2G1F and I had coupons for them too so I ended up paying $1.66 per box! :woohoo:

I love spending money to SAVE money!!!!:dance3:

Definitely agree with you about the tp. :thumbsup2 Great job with your savings......... but we've got you beat on the snow. 22 inches here. Everything is shut down including the Twin Cities International airport, the Mall of America, about fifty highways.... :headache: :sad2:

YIKES!!!!!! I don't even want to THINK about 22 inches of snow! We haven't seen that much (at once) since the Blizzard of '78! I remember "helping" my dad shovel the sidewalk and the snow was taller than me!

Your envie went out on Tuesday. It is a little small, I haven't received one in two weeks.
Happy Savings and Merry Christmas!:santa:

Cindy-rella - I sent your envelope out on Tuesday this week, I hope you have gotten it. I sent last weeks out early, since we were leaving for Disney, so you should have gotten it before now. I haven't gotten it back yet, but I will check with my post office on Monday.

Well, here's a little update on our weather. The official total for our suburb was ONLY 20 inches of snow so I exaggerated slightly. :rotfl: There's a suburb on the other side of Minneapolis that came in first with 21.5 inches. My DH was disappointed that we "lost" to them. He's a little .... The NY Giants were supposed to fly in yesterday for today's game against the Vikings but were rerouted to Kansas City as the airport here was closed sometime yesterday. They rescheduled today's game for tomorrow night...well, sort of. The roof on the Metrodome where the Vikings play collapsed at about 5 A.M. this morning. There's snow on the playing field right now. The game may or may not be played tomorrow night. :dance3: The temperature right now is -2 and I don't even want to think about the windchill. Tonight they're predicting a windchill of -30. :headache: Isn't winter FUN?

I heard about the Dome. Thank God there wasn't a stadium full of people in it!

Keep warm!

I'm surprised you received mail, too! We didn't get any mail, and to make it worse, the snowplow knocked our mailbox over and buried it in a huge snowbank. :sad2: DH had to try to dig it out of the snowbank and try to figure out how to set it up again. It's now designed as part of the snowbank :rotfl: but the mailman should be able to open its door at least and put my coupons in there until spring melts! :rotfl2:

Shipoo- I received my envelope on Thursday, thanks! Hang in there with the snow storm and don't send too much more snow our way.
