GO TEXANS!!!

Okay, I am sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but I just couldn't resist letting everyone on the boards know that the Houston Texans won their opener against Dallas. First expansion team since 1961 to win their opener...

Anyway, how do games in the ESPN Zone work? Do they get any Sunday games? Can we see all the games showing on local stations (Key West) will we only get SUnday Night Football? WIll we get MOnday Night football?

I previously only cared a little bit since HOuston has had no team...but now I want to know what games we can see on board.

ANyone have any info on this?

I turned on the game very briefly last night just in time to see the Texans score a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. I guess they made it stick!

They did it with a SAFETY to boot!!!!!!!! What a game!!!!! I just couldn't believe it! I wanted to be right there in Reliant Satdium. I guess jumping up in down in my pjs in my bedroom 1000 miles away would have to do!!!!!!!!

Oh the shame! how in the world is Emmit gonna beat this record with the way the Cowboys played last night?! YIKES!

Ahh well, at least the Redskins and Broncos won!

I actually really like Emmitt Smith. (Don't tell my dad I like a Cowboy.) So, I am glad that he didn't get his record last night. I would like to see him get it with any other team, and maybe in a game they win, preferrably at home. I would hate to have thought that he got his record losing a game to HOUSTON!!!!

I haven't checked the schedule yet to see who we're playing that weekend - we might have a little TX crowd in the sports bar!

Deb - just please tell me that you will not become a Sooner fan. Nothing would break my heart more.

Lets plan to paint our faces, dress up in wierd costumes and hoot and holler loud enough for everyone to hear! Okay, maybe we will leave the face paint and costumes for those actually IN Jacksonville watching the game. But we can still hoot n' holler! (Jacksonville 4:35pm)

Who knows, we may have a majority of TEXAN fans in the club and we will MAKE them show us the game!

Houston is playing San Diego Monday night and my 8yo son is begging to go to the ESPN Skybox!! Maybe we will be lucky and the game will be on the TV in our stateroom.

I have been a Cowboy fan for as long as I can remember and I am happy Houston has a team again and they are "Bud-free". Bob McNair is a class act. I just may have to root for the Texans when they aren't playing Dallas. I had to turn the game off in the 3rd because I couldn't stand to watch Dallas play that badly!

Hehehe I do something close to that. I live in the Washington DC area and I actually route for the Redskins in any game that they aren't playing the Cowboys. People think I am strange because they are rivals.

LOLOL...like I said, I just wanted everyone on the boards to know the Texans kicked b*tt. And then if anyone thinks of it....answering the ESPN question.

And AHHHHHHHH to be "Bud-free"...we are so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we lived in Florida, we rooted for the Dolphins. Then for the years Houston was without a team, we rooted for New England and the Green Bay.

Then I played Fantasy Football and it really screwed me up! How can you pick players according to their stats? I hated some of those guys! (Namely anyone who played for Denver, Buffalo, Cleveland and anyone else that Houston didn't like )

Gee, I would love to be this enthusiastic about my team, the Chiefs....but after Sunday, I'm still recovering from exhaustion from that nutso game. I think the announcer said the lead had changed 12 times. My poor husband had to take a nap afterwards.
