Just had to share my excitement.
I had "won" the opportunity to purchase Green Monster seats. Today was the day to log in and purchase tickets. If you've ever had this opportunity before, you know that you log in through the email they send you and then you sit in the virtual waiting room waiting to see if you get into the ticket office.
I waited maybe 15 minutes before I was in the ticket office. Last time we waited HOURS. But then it took me about 10 minutes before I was actually able to secure tickets. I tried for a couple of Yankees games, but it kept saying "room too busy, try again". And then it would say "no tickets available in that quantity." I was trying for 4 standing room tickets. (SRO was $35 each while seats are $165 each - way too high for my blood.)
So Yankees tickets off the table, time to go after something else. We decided that the games against Tampa Bay in September could really be important games, so I went for the Saturday game first and scored my 4 tickets.
YAY! So we're going to see the Sox take on the Rays at Fenway, from atop the Green Monster, in September! WOOHOO!
(Ok, back to all the Disney talk!)

We had good luck this year, too! Very excited the season will be beginning soon. Have fun at the game!
