Hi all,

I am a first time user of the Go Pro and am seeking advice on what's the best resolution to use.

Footage will be at the parks and on the rides. I will want to slow down some of the footage when editing.

I was thinking 1080p 30fps?? I've been told that filming at 60fps takes up to much storage?

Also what's best for night time filming?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I'm a novice GoPro user myself but if you are going to do a lot of slow motion then filming at 60fps is the way to go it will use up more storage but your slowmo will be significantly better. Don't expect great quality while filming at night. There is a reason all of the GoPro commercials you see are filmed during sunny days. The small sensor just doesn't do well in low light.

agree, I'd go with 60fps.

6 days in the parks, I came close, but didn't fill up a 64GB memory card.

you will need lots of light shooting at night
