Go Kart fun Old Town or Fun Spot or others?

DS is wanting to ride go karts
heard Old Town had an "awesome track"
but looking online, I am seeing a normal, smallish one at Old Town
and an awesome one nearby at Fun Spot USA
run by differnet groups

also, these seem to be very overpriced
Old Town is 30 bucks for an all day wristband

Fun Spot is 35 for all day fun

both seem to be carnival type rides, with the go karts and bumper cars


anyone have money saving tips or suggestions for either venue?
or another one that would be worth our while?

We went to Fun Spot twice during our stay last week. My son loved the Go Karts. We used our Go Orlando cards which gave us the Unlimited Wristbands.

I know that some of the Orlando Coupon Books had Coupons for Fun Spot in them like 6 bucks off.

Thanks, I just investigated the GoOrlando cards, I hadn't heard of them before this. THey won't work for me this year, but another visit...something to think about!

I just ordered an Entertainment book for the Fun Spot coupon (and I am sure we will use a few of the other coupons as well!)

FYI the 2009 Entertainment book (good through Nov 2009) is now $9.00

Old Town's track is fine. We enjoy it. Haven't been to Fun Spot. The track we want to do, and will try to hit next month, is the one on I-Drive that is multi-level. We've driven past a number of times but have never gotten there. Don't know the name. Maybe someone else does.

I think the one on I-drive that is multilevel is a FunSpot also. Seems like there are two of them from the website. Thanks!

Fun Spot has 2 locations. One on 192 and the other on Idrive. There is an additional one on I drive not sure of the name.

We went to the one on I drive the 192 was not built when we went. They all had a blast. My husband and DBIL loved it they said they got air? I think we will be doing this in Aug. I will report back on it.
