i know...this is like a mortal sin...i live in the state of indiana...i'm supposed to root for purdue, but how can i turn my back on my huskies?!

Dh and I went to Purdue and realized after the first five minutes that this was not going to be a good day for our Boilers. Hopefully they'll wake up and realize they are at a football game. I don't mind getting beat but this is embarrassing

my best friend's DH went to purdue and is from a strong purdue family...everyone except for his youngest sister went to purdue (she went to IU)...so whenever the boilers play the huskies, i have to razz him...he hates it!!

Mark my word... they will be a top 10 team next year and will be the Pac-10 champs. Reggie Williams and Cody Pickett will both be Heisman candidates and they are losing very few impact players. They will be back on top next year.

Hey guys its now 31 to 17 with my Boilers on top. I guess they woke up and the Huskies took a nap. I wish it was the 4th quarter with about 2 seconds left.

i'm in total disbelief at my huskies...i can't believe they fell asleep during the game...


oh well...congrats to the boilers! since i'm a transplanted hoosier, i guess i should be happy for them...

It's amazing how these bowl games can turn around so quickly. We were so upset we turned the game off after Washington went ahead 17 to 0. My 82 year old aunt called about 15 minutes later and said Purdue had just tied. We were shocked but luckly had recorded everything so we could watch.

Washington had gotten so hyped up after the third score that they had 15 yard personal fouls on consecutive plays. There was on official time out so the Washington coach could try to calm the team but they never got back into the groove.
Purdue scored 34 unanswered points.

I don't think many people, myself included, gave Purdue much chance against a team like Washington. I'm a life long Cub fan so I tend to be realistic.
