My husband and I went to WDW in May and near the end of our trip we discovered Photo Pass. All the cast members with cameras will take your picture and give you a little credit card with a barcode on it. Take this to all the parks and have all the pictures you want taken of your family. They will scan the card and keep them organized for you. After your trip, log on to their web site and look at your photos. Don't order any right away, though. Wait about a week and Disney will email you a promo code for 20% off their photo cd (normally $124.00). You can have up to 500 pictures on the cd, so the more pictures you have, the better the deal. Some of our cutest pics are from the water parks. I haven't seen a picture of myself coming down a waterslide since I was a little girl. So much fun!
:rotfl:

I love the photo pass!!! We always make sure that's the first thing we get when we arrive at one of the parks. Now, I have never received one of those coupons. Where's mine?? (JK)

This last time, I bought one of their photo books where you can upload your own pics with the ones they took on the photo pass and put them together in a scrapbook. It turned out so nice!! I just love it!!

How can I make sure I get one when I first enter the parks ??
Is there someplace I have to go ??

When you first enter the parks, there are always cast members taking photos. Just go up to one of them and ask them to take your picture and that you would like a photo pass card. For example, in MK, there are tons of them on Main Street taking group pics in front of the castle. You can also get them from the photographers taking your pic with a character.

Do the water park ones now go on photo pass too? How does that work? TIA :)

Sounds like a great idea! Does anyone know if you can get this if you're a non-US resident?

You can check out their website to see if can answer that question for you b/c I'm not sure. It's disneyphotopass.com.

Definitely check the website, but if not, you can also get the CD at WDW before you go home, it's available in the photo place in Epcot, the one in Toontown in MK (I believe that's where it is...I know there's one in MK), and at the Photopass desk on the 2nd floor of the Grand Floridian.

Also, some of the bigger rides are photopass also so check that out. You just have to ask. I know Test Track had their own scanners and you just went up to which ever monitor had your picture and scan it onto your photopass.

Just wondering if I can do this. I am ready to order the CD and wanted to know if I can add my personal pics to the photopass CD.

Anyone know?

Thanks

I believe so. I was able to upload my own pics and put them into the scrapbook they offer. I would assume you could do the same for the CD. Go check out their site and see if it says.

I read in another thread that you can not do this for the CD, only for the scrapbook.

Great Idea. Thanks for the info. My hubby and are going in mid Sept and it's nice to know we can get pics of the both of us together!

I believe that they do and you get a little card (like a coupon card for the grocery store to put on your key ring). It is on a coil bracelet thingy so you can wear it on your wrist. I haven't been to the water parks but I heard this is how it works and I have seen people around the parks with the coil bracelet photopass card. I hope that they start using these in the other parks. It would be so convenient as opposed to digging out the credit card size photopass that you get at the four theme parks.

Before someone asks, you can use the same photpass card at all the parks.

If your family splits up for the day, can you use different cards for the same photo pass account?

Yes. When we were there last year, we had several different photo pass cards. We just entered them all at their website and it put all of our pictures together.

Is it kind of like a guarantee that you will get a discount code?? My Dsister went a few weeks ago & I still don't think that she has got a a code yet.

we just come back from disney, and we take 398 pic and when you go online you can add some feature, like the signature of caractere or the logo of the theme park. in total with the modified pic we have 550 pic :rotfl: .

so for 550 pic at 124$, that a great deal :cool1:

and yes you can take two card and at the end of your jouney or trip go two the photopass counter they will bring all your pic together

are ride pictures being put on photopass now? They weren't when we were there last August! That would be awesome!! :thumbsup2 We never bought any of the ride pics, but did buy the CD. We hit every single photopass person we see, sometimes more than once!:thumbsup2 It IS a great deal if you get enough pictures on the CD! Family pics are hard to get everyone into when one person is the designated photographer! Our best vacation photos always turn out to be the photopass pics!
