I went to the doctors and everything is great. He thinks I'm allergic to the steri strips they used on my incisions so he took them off all but the largest one so they wouldn't irritate me anymore.

They weren't going to weigh me today but I asked them too so I could keep the encouragement going....

Well I lost almost 20lbs since my last visit!! YAYAYAYAYA!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

So I've decided to track my weight loss with a 100lb ticker to start with.

No job news still Although I got called to sub this morning. Unfortunately, Greg and I haven't put in place plans for this possibility so I had to decline for today. I think my plan at this point is to go ahead and submit my stuff to sub in all the surrounding schools and figure out a way we will be able to get the boys to school on days I get called. This at least will give me some cash flow while I wait on a stronger prospect. I NEED a job in order to go to gnomefest!!!!!!! Come on pixie dust!

Happy Friday Gnomies!!! Hope you all enjoy the 3-day weekend!! I know I am, a friend of mine is going to take me to a nearby outlet mall for some shopping so I'm going to find a couple of new shirts YAY, maybe some new workout clothes LOL (although I have found great deals at TJ Maxx).

Katie..you know I'm praying for you during this hard time!! Keep your head up something will come your way!!!! Thank you for your encouragement on my weight loss...I weigh in Sunday and am looking forward to this week's weigh in!!

Happy Saturday girls! Anyone with fun plans for the holiday weekend?

We don't have anything special but several fun things in store. Yesterday we went on a picnic with one of the boys friends and his mom then went to the football game at the HS. Poor Greg not only had supervision duty at the game but also had to work the dance after. When he came home I asked him how it was and he said "good, only one kid left in handcuffs"

Today is a big in-state college football game that we will make a point to watch and I think we may hit the pool this afternoon. Tomorrow Patrick and I have a date. He has been asking lately to spend some time alone with me so I think I will take him to the Living History Farms (not too expensive and a nice way for us to interact, he hasn't been there since he was 2 so of course it will all be new to him)

Katie- so sorry that good job news hasn't come your way yet. Hang in there! Your plans for the weekend sound super fun. Only one kid in handcuffs in the mark of a successful evening, huh? Actually it reminds me of the show Friday Night Lights - does anyone watch it? I that show. And, ok, I have a crush on a couple of the actors... that doesn't hurt!

Jess and Julez- hope you're both doing well with all the craziness that comes with a move! Exciting for both of you. Looking forward to pictures of your new places!

Marc & I did have fun, we went to Concord and toured some of the historical sites. We even took a tour of Louisa May Alcott's house. It was very nice!

I'm feeling really good. I get tired easily still but I am trying to build my stamina up!
