Jen- I don't think you're headed for a straight jacket at all. As Leslie said, you have to have the right expectations but I've read reports from Christmas and 4th of July when I would expect crowds to be miserable and people have had a great time. I think they key is being "in the know" and as a DIS'er you would certainly be that!

Less than a week to Disney for me! I can't believe it. Let me know if I can get or research anything for anyone. I have a few missions for magnets, cookbooks and a few other items but I'm happy to look for anything else. I will be trying both Via Napoli and La Hacienda... can't wait to report back.

yes, Mom is showing slow improvement. Everyone says the surgery went great but she feels terrible and is anxious to move on from this.

Stace, sorry your interview didn't feel great. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, it sounds like a great job!!

MM, I'm not sure I would ever brave the week between christmas and new years but yes, you know what you would be getting into and how to plan accordingly. I definitely understand the desire!

Oh no Stace!!! So so sorry about the job! I know there's a great one out there for you somewhere, just keep those eyes peeled and we'll keep thinking about you!!

Well girls. Blake and I broke down today. We're going to Disney.
All of a sudden this morning, Blake says "Hey, why can't we go to Disney again? Why don't you price out some things" And before we knew it, I had all the counter and table services and our food choices picked out

We're going to go in January, our friend, the one I always meet up with, can get us a 40% discount, plus ticket discounts, I already did the Disney fuzzy math on all the food for the trip and priced out Southwest tickets! We're looking at 6 days, 5 nights, somewhere between the days of January 4th-13th, only because Blake's spring term starts somewhere after that and we want to make sure he's still between terms during their interim period first before we book. YAY!! I'll catch ya up later as I find out more!
