GMC SUV - Home Depot Test Drive

They didn't even send me the color brochure, even though that was what I originally requested. (Made sure of that). I got a price sheet and a couple of flyers - upromise, etc. No offer. Course I am 40 and female so that may be it. Who knows.

When I requested the Expedition brochure, that one never even arrived (or DH threw it).

I ordered the brochure yesterday in my husbands name.. I hope we get it!

Pumbaa-don't get your hopes up- I sent for one and also sent for one for my dad at his address- and neither one of us got a test drive offer. I am calling GMC when they open and asking about it! Now I regret it because I bet that will start a bunch of junk mail to my house. Darn it.

We currently own a GMC van, and no test drive offer came in our paperwork either!.

I think what's happened is that the auto manufacturers are losing money on the test drives. The internet and forums like the DIS allow knowledge of test drive offers to spread quickly. Too many people do the test drive but not buy the vehicle.

Now what I should have better stated was that I ordered and received the GMC information and the test drive offer wasn't in the package. A few weeks later a postcard came in the mail for the test drive. And yesterday, out-of-the-blue I received an email from Buick for a Rendezvous test drive for a Nike golf gift pack. So I think the manufacturers are trying things to maximize test drive results and it's confusing how they are picking people to do the test drives.
