I was an engineer for GM up until my twins were born. That discount is for family only--unless something has changed that I am not aware of? I'd certainly not be risking being found out and possibly losing my job to give a stranger a discount. Those codes aren't like coupons!

I had to sign my life away practically last year to use the GM Friends/Family discount that I was entitled to. My dad is a GM retiree and there was a whole separate form I had to sign verifying my eligibility to use the discount when I signed the papers for my Equinox.

Not something to mess around with unless the rules have relaxed on who's eligible.

Yes, things have changed. They are now offering the supplier discount to friends. It is not the same as the family discount. GM employees are allowed to give the supplier / friend discount, 1 per month.

OP - I can get your an authorization code, but the previous poster is correct, I need the purchaser's date of birth and zip code in order to get a code for you. PM me if you still need one.
