Gluten free question

If we have a note on our dining reservations that we need gluten free meals, is there anything else I need to do? I know there's a form out there somewhere that one can fill out, but when DH called to have the gluten thing noted on our reservations, they didn't say anything about it.

You can email special diets and they will in turn email you a form to fill out that is sent to the chefs of the restaurants you have booked you will also receive a list of gluten free options at counter service meals. My family just returned from Disney in July and my brother was just recently diagnosed with celiacs disease. Disney is great with allergies EVERYONE there goes out of there way to help! I filled out the form for my upcoming trip and received this back in part from Disney...

Due to these changes, you no longer need to fill out the additional
"Guest Allergy/Dietary Request Form" unless there is a member in your
party with requests associated with the list below:

PKU
Metabolic disorders
A single guest with 4 or more allergies/intolerances

They request that you note the allergy in your reservations and then ask to speak to a Chef or Leader at each location.

The latest is that for a single allergy/intollerance that you just note in on your reservation. You can email Special Diets to get their gluten free lists if you'd like but they really don't need the form any longer for just gluten. A lot of the time the chefs aren't looking at the forms ahead of time anyway unless there have been specific questions. With that being said, if you have an ADR at 50s PTC and want the fried chicken it is generally suggested that you contact them maybe that morning or a few days before hand to let them know because it can take a long time to make if they don't have a heads up.
