Gluten Free HEA Dessert Party

Has anyone ever eaten the gluten free desserts offered at the fireworks dessert party? I'm interested in what is offered as far as gluten free options besides fruit and cheese.

Nasty and still cold Erin McKenna stuff.

I could have the ice cream too, which kind of saved the thing...but that was one heck of an expensive sundae. (Especially since I was seriously underwhelmed with the schizophrenic projection/fireworks hybrid.)

Dug hit the nail on the head. I don't mind Erin McKenna stuff, and the one cupcake I got was yummy, but then I asked for another.... nope :/ you get what is in the box, only the box and nothing else. I also can't have cow's dairy so no cheese in mine. It was a very pricey little tray. That said, I quite liked the fireworks and the viewing space, so... I can't say I wouldn't ever do it again. I'll probably do it for the MVMCP just because I do not like staking out fireworks spots ages ahead of time. But yeah... don't expect to be wowed by the amazing gluten free dessert spread.

I tried it with my Celiac husband and daughter in 2016. Fruit and ice cream were the only things he could have, along with chocolate dipped strawberries that he doesn't like. Honestly even for the two of us who weren't eating GF, the desserts were mediocre and overpriced. Not sure I'd ever do it again.

If you go to the TPAS board and go to the official HEA thread there and search the thread for “gluten”, you can see a photo I posted a few months ago of the exact items they give you in the box. Sorry I can’t post the photo, I am not in good internet range. They haven’t changed the box since I took the photo, at least not as of this March.
