Does Disney make a gluten free cake? We are going during both kids bday's and was wondering if we could get a cake like this for dd (ds is not allergic just dd). They have been wonderful on making her food all around Disney I was just wondering if do cakes.

I know they make vegan cakes. When i call for cakes, I usually speak with a chef. (I'm not sure how coral reef works)

If not are you willing to pay a little more to get one. There is a baker in Orlando called sweet tooth vegan and she does have gluten free options.

I would pay more for her to have her own cake to celebrate. Thanks for the info I'll look into it.

If I were you I would call Coral Reef and ask. We were at Disney last week, 1st time traveling there since our son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. The first evening there I called Tuskar House because we had breakfast reservations. I was told to just let them know when we arrived and they would arrange to have the chef come out and walk us through the buffet. This was the case at every sit down meal we went to and counter service restraurants were just as accommadating. When they called a chef out to speak to us he was there within minutes, they had notebooks by the registers listing ingredients of all the items on the menu. We were even happy to learn that they had gluten free pizza at Pizza Planet. I've heard that bakeries on Main Street and over by The Boardwalk have gluten free baked goods as well.

We asked for a dairy-free cake at LTT, and the chef told us it happened to be gluten-free as well. Apparently he used a dairy-free cake mix that was also gluten-free. It was actually very good, tasted more like a chocolate brownie than a cake. I am sure they can do this at the other restaurants. Call in advance and ask to speak to the chef.

Thank you everyone. I knew Disney would have something for her. They have been awesome with her allergy for regular food.

I know the bakery on Main st has gluten free brownies maybe one of those can be decorated???

My dd8 went back and march with her aunties and they said every one was wonderful! I believe Liberty tree Tavern even had special GF rolls waiting for her!!!

She also loved the pizza at Pizza planet! They had to wait a bit longer for hers but so what she had pizza out!!!!!!

I can't wait togo back in 2 months and see for myself how great they are!

We were actually told at Pizza Planet that the GF pizza was going to take a bit longer but was amazed at how quick they had it for us. We were also there at a busy time of the evening. It really amazed me at how easy it was to find GF food for my son. The food courts at the ASMovies also had GF rolls for their burgers and hot dogs. Be sure to talk to a Chef tho ... there were some communication problems with some of the cooks ... one one occasion I kept asking if their fries were "Gluten Free" and they kept telling me I was going to have to pay for them.

I know one of the desserts at Coral Reef is already GF - the Chocolate Wave! It is so good!!!!

I'm sure if you notify them ahead of time they would be able to help you out! Have a great trip! :)

Disney use the Namaste cake mix, they can make it vegan if you like or use milk and eggs, just let them know.
