My DH was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. Has anyone had any experience with trying to follow a gluten free diet at Universal Studios, Knotts, or Magic Mountain? We are planning to visit all three on our upcoming trip, but are trying to figure out how it will work with his new diet. Thank you!

I know at the San Diego Zoo, they have a notebook in Guest Services with recommendations on where to eat and what is available. You might want to contact the parks and ask them what they have available.

I think you're right. I'll just have to add that to my travel preparations. Thanks for the info regarding the zoo. That's another place we plan to visit on our trip.

Your Welcome. At the Zoo you will find the information at either the Information Station, located between the turnstiles and the ticket booths, or at Guest Services located just inside the turnstiles. (Those are two of the areas I work in and I make sure we stay up to date with the info). Also, if you don't want to stop, you can always go to Albert's Restaurant, as they will be able to make almost anything gluten free, as the food is prepared to order here. Most of the other restaurants are counter service and harder to do requests at, but they do try.

I have food allergies. Just go to Guest Relations at any park and they should be able to help you.
