We have been to Disneyland multiple times but this will be my daughters first visit since having to go gluten and dairy free. I've seen lots of info on one or the other but not as much on avoiding both allergens. She has so many favorite treats from our past trips and I want to make sure she doesn't feel she's missing out in the food department :) I know the popcorn and dole whips are good. And I know I need to stop at guest relations and get a current list. If you have experience with gluten and dairy free, what are your favorite meals (quick service), snacks and treats?

I don't think guest relations hands out a list of what they have at the parks any longer - I believe you need to speak to each restaurant/counter service and specify your allergy and then they can advise you what they can provide. If you are making any reservations online, specify these allergies so they can be prepared ahead of time - in our experience someone will approach you shortly after seated and consult with you on any allergies. It's gotten a lot better over the years as these allergies are better understood.

There is no longer a list at City Hall. Most eateries have an 'allergy menu' which has dishes suitable for those with allergies. Here's a link for the menus. You'll have to scroll down past the WDW ones.

The menus seem to have different formats so you'll have to read them carefully. Some combine the allergens and will list the (lack of) allergens below the dish, some seem to list GF choices separately from DF choices.

But remember that if you aren't sure, the chef will be happy to come out and help you decide or to try to work to find something that's suitable.

I'm only GF, so I'm not going to provide my favs as I don't know if they're DF.

Don't get sucked into thinking the allergy menu has your only options, use it as a starting point for figuring out what the fam member wants and then ask to speak to a chef. The chefs were very helpful with our modifications for our picky eater (on top of her gluten/dairy allergy) but it worked best when we had an idea of what she wanted to eat first.

My husband avoids both of these, and his favorite on our last one-day trip was the Bengal BBQ, though you have to be careful with sauces. They have GF fries at the quick serve place in Tomorrowland (Galactic Grill?) and their burgers are decent. The Chinese place over on the Pier in CA had some good options. The Mexican place should also have some good options. Really, like they said, ask to talk to the chef, especially at any sit down places.
