Glue Gun Question For All You Crafters Out There

Okay all you crafters - I want to purchase a full size glue gun. Do you prefer Dual-Temp or individual High-Temp & Low-Temp guns. Which brands & model no. of guns? Which brands of glue? Feel free to elaborate on your preferences! (originally posted in Creative DISigns)

Hello!

Dual temp full size guns will give you the most versatility, but I find myself using a dedicated high temp gun most of the time. You get slightly better bonding and longer working time with a high temp gun. I just don't work with delicate materials too much and therefore keep a low temp mini handy in the off chance I use foam or other delicate material.

But a dual temp gun will work great for both occasions, its just up to you and your project.

I know that's a pretty non-committal answer, but it really is up to you. You can't go wrong either way. I work for a glue gun manufacturer and would be happy to answer any other questions you have.

I suspected there were pitfalls using dual-temp. I like the idea of a longer working time with the dedicated single-temp. Thanks for the info!
