Glowing Cubes?

I've noticed in a few of the menu's, as well as in a few of the photo's posted on this forum, that glowing ice-cubes can be put in the kids drinks.
Do all TS restaurants offer this with their kids meals, or only a select few?
I'm in the final stages of planning our trip in May, and would really like the kids to experience glowing cubes at least once.
Thanks.

We got them in MGM at the restaurant where you sit in cars to eat and watch old movies on a big screen...Can't remember the name of the restaurant but if you look at MGM restaurants it shouldn't be too hard to find. My kids loved them! You can hit them and turn them off so you can keep them for awhile.

We have seen them at the Coral Reef and at the Sci Fi. I am sure there are more places but those are the ones I remember.

I got one in my dad's electric blue lemonade at 50's Prime Time. Also got one at Sci Fi.

They have them in the "adult drinks" at the '50s Prime Time Cafe. However, we asked our waitress for an extra one for dd's drink...

We got ours in the backlot part of MGM. There was a little stand set up selling alcoholic drinks and I think cherry sprite for kids. It was a glow up with light up cubes.

1900 Park Fare also has them...order the Cinderella drink for the kids. It's orange, which I haven't seen before. Also, on the last trip we had the ones that you tap to turn on and off. The ones from this trip have a button with 3 settings- flashing, on, and off. Very cool and a big hit with the kids!

we got the glowing cubes in our drinks at the sci-fi last year, but i've found a site where you can buy them:

www.wowcoolstuff.com

they're called "litecubes" - we got several rainbow litecubes (at $2.49 each) - they have a little button on the bottom so you can change the mode 8 different ways! (better than the ones at WDW!)

Thanks suzimar57, checked out that website and they do have some really cool things, but unfortunately don't ship to New Zealand so I will have to wait until May and get them in a drink or two (judging by the number of restaurants that have them!)
Can't wait, kids have just about turned themselves inside out with excitement! :rotfl2:

You can buy them separately at the bar, without buying any drink, at the PTC. I can't remember how much I paid.....maybe $4.50 or $5.00. There are two types....one that can be turned off.

I bought one there in December and left it blinking under the tree for my seventeen year old niece. It was a nice flashback memory from a trip where we surprised my parents/her grandparents at WDW. She kept making it flash in her mouth....my mom kept saying, "oh be careful" and she kept saying, "oh Grandma" and kept doing it of course. WDW provides so many great memories.

I had no idea that you could buy them separately. I was sitting at the bar eating my fried chicken (hey...there is another secret...when PTC is fully booked....you can sit at the bar and eat) and a woman came up and said she wanted to buy one. Out came the box of them. And there was an extra Christmas present to take home.

I did not see Hollywood and Vine mentioned... in addition to PTC and Sci Fi at MGM.
