Glow with the Show ears

Does anyone know if Glow with the Show ears purchased at DL will work at WDW? I'm planning to give mine purchased at DL to a friend going to WDW over Christmas. I assumed they'd work but then thought I'd better check....it'd be embarrassing if they didn't! Thanks!

Disney has said that the Glow With the Show ears will work on both coasts.

Yes, the DL glow ears will work in WDW. They are reported to not be as bright as the newer WDW ears but they pick up the transmitted signals at Fantasmic, Osborne Lights, and the MK Fireworks and Castle Projection show.

We have Glow Ears from a cruise and are assuming they'll work... we'll find out!
