Just thought I would pass this info on. :cool1::cool1:

And you can buy up to three sets for that same $5 shipping - so 72 for $13.97 total.

I saw this today and grabbed 3 packs.

Even at Dollar Tree, 2- 4" glow sticks are $1. Or 5 glow bracelets for $1.

The Woot deal is great! We sell these at school fundraising dances. Normally the bracelets we charge $.50 for. I wonder if we could sell the sticks for $1 each??

Bought my two packs just now. This is a really great deal on glow sticks.

I just bought three and was thinking I might be a little nuts. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I saw a pin on pinterest where someone put several glowsticks in the bathtub in a dark bathroom. My little boys would love that!

A lot of places have glow sticks out right now with the Halloween stuff. I got a tube of sticks and a tube of necklaces from the Target $2.50 bins a couple of weeks ago. I think I have 25 sticks and 20 necklaces. We always check the $1 bins and the $2.50 bins!

Thanks for posting that! I usually check woot in the mornings, but had forgotten to this morning till I saw this post.

Great price on these!! With buying 3 sets (plus the shipping), it makes them only 19 cents each!

I know you can get the necklaces/bracelets super duper cheap usually (I have gotten 100-ct cylinders at Jo-Ann's for less than $5 making them less than 5 cents each).

But these rigid 4-inch ones are usually at least 40-50 cents each... and they glow MUCH brighter.

Thanks!

They should come before Halloween. The shipping is always pretty fast with their non-food items. I ordered three for Halloween, wish we could order more.

The ones I saw at Target were the skinny ones that make a necklace or bracelet. The woot ones are the bigger (fatter ones) that were in the Target dollar spot in a pack of 2.

Different e-mail account and credit card (e.g. second Eoot account), Rupert?

I got my other half to use his account. :thumbsup2 I went to Wal-Mart tonight and they have the same size ones in packs of 10 for $4.48. Target was all sold out of theirs. Amazon has larger packs but they are still more expensive there compared to their cousin, Woot. :)

Being a Disney newbie I have to ask which is more likely to be what a 6 year old boy would want at the parks at night?

We are going Dec 14-20 so if anyone can enlighten me as to which type I might want to purchase in advance so as not to get stuck with him wanting a certain one in the park that would be great lol?

When we went to Disney around that same time period, (dd's were 7 and 5), we took along the bracelet/necklace type.. tons of them.. brought like 3 tubes of 100 (only $15 total at Joann's).

DD's loved having these each night.. what we did is made bracelets (one stick/1 connector) and necklaces (using 2 sticks/2 connectors)... had dd's wear 10-15 of them at a time.. kept the rest in my baggalini.. and when it got dark enough, they had a blast giving them out to any kids they saw.

I figured at about 5 cents per bracelet or 10 cents per necklace, it was well worth seeing the enjoyment it brought to the other kids, and to my daughters to be able to make quick friends.

My DS 5 prefers the sticks (we get the 6 inch sticks from BJs i packs of 20 for 10$ usually). I think thats mainly because they are easier to hold and he likes that they glow all night.

That being said, at age 4, he was gifted some bracelets in epcot when we were there last december by a little girl and they were a huge hit on a night that I forgot them! (could this have been you mrudman? if so - THANK YOU for the pixie dust!!)
