glow sticks in carry ons?

Anyone know if you can pack glow sticks in your carry on luggage? We always bring some from home and we're not checking any luggage this time. I didn't know if they'd be considered "liquid" or not.

... do indeed consider these liquid (strangely enough cream cheese is also considered a liquid????) and they have required us to dispose of them before proceeding through to the flight...

Check them and you will have no problem!

If you can find some that are marked less 3oz or less on the package that fit inside a 1qt bag you could bring them, but most aren't clearly marked. I found some at the Dollar Tree the other day that were marked, but they were Nascar themed.

I mailed mine in a box that i always send down so you could always mail them to yourself at your hotel if you are not checking anything.

I would assume, yes.

Mail them down before you go, it should be farely cheap.

We brought one home with us from FL last week just to see if they would take it or not. I forgot all about it, but it was still there when we got home. We are planning to buy some when they (probably) go on clearance after Halloween, then take them down to our Owner's Locker next time we go. We'll see what happens when we've got a bunch in our bag...

I had two (still sealed in the package) in my carry on two summer's ago and they were removed. I totally forgot that they were in there. I usually ship them down with my other stuff but that package go left behind. I would just put them in a ziploc bag and place them in your checked baggage.
