Glow Necklaces??

Hey all. Can anyone tell me if the glow necklaces/bracelets in the parks are tri or single colored. I'm think of ordering a heap of them from oriental trading and would really like to have the same as WDW for when we're down there and will use the rest up as needed throght the year. You can only order quanities on 50 and it's the same price for 1, 3 or 5 colors on each necklace.

Don't know what color they are at disney, but they are cheaper at Ebay. I bought the 8 inch ones for $22 for 200. They have several 22 inch listed for $30 after shipping.

I don't remember them selling glow necklaces at WDW. They have lots of light up stuff, but I think the only glow neclaces are the ones people brought from home. We did, and the kids loved them. They didn't even ask for light up stuff until the last night, when we had run out of the ones from home.

just there in May and I didn't see any. They sold these other light up toys but no necklaces. We brought our own and used them in the parks at night and on our Disney Cruise. I can't tell you how many people came up to us asking were we got them.
I'd bring them with ya!

In agreement with the other posters...we never actually saw the glow necklaces being sold at the parks - but we did see plenty of them around (mostly tri-colored). We brought our own, we were lucky enough to find multi packs at the local dollar store.

The kids loved them and we got many compliments and people asking where we bought them. i couldnt imagine going to disney without a them.

What also got attention and the kids loved were these battery operated glow sticks that we picked up at target and the dollar stores, both had then at a $1 each. on style was with the fiber optic fibers that changed colors and the other for lack of a better discbription was a mall lucite wand that changed colors. Mega hits with the kids and passer-by's. DD who had a cindererall alight twirly thing from our last disney trip...perferred these $1 light ups to the $12 one she already had!

Kids....go figure!

I've had good luck ordering from Illuminationz.com.

I also purchased a pen that holds a small glow stick at Ocean State Job Lot. That should be fun for autographs at night.

At oriental trading company they are about $1 each. At illuminationz they are 40 cents. I got 100 braclets from illuminationz and then linked several together to make a necklace. The ones from oriental trading are multi colored though and do have lots of other really cool stuff. There are lots of other online sources but I've only illuminationz (on a tip from Diz).

I think I'll try to find a place online that sells the tri-colored. I guess orental trading isn't such a great bargin. I will be bringing some down which ever way I have to get them as DS loves these so they will make the trip extra special. Now if I could just find those light-up ice cubes too. I'd have everything. Orientaltrader is the MOST expensive place to get them! I always go to ebay, I pass out glowsticks for Halloween, but Target now has the $1 spot they have great flashing rings, braclets and necklaces and other stuff I stocked up on flashing blue rings for the 4th - I also found the little spinning light up fans at the Disney store for $2.99 with princess and Mickey
