Glow in the Dark items

I read at some point about bringing along things that glow in the dark (like necklace and such) for the kids for some reason. For the life of me I can't remember why the suggestion was made or when we would use glow in the sticks or necklaces?

I've read something about the teens having a night where they play glow in the dark sports with black lights, and I think they mentioned those glo necklaces and bracelets, etc. Is that what you're thinking of??

I'm not sure if my answer is what you're looking for but...

I bought a whole bunch of the glow in the dark necklaces to hand out. Now granted we are going on a Halloween cruise but, still I think they are just for fun.

Is that for the ToT? That is what I got too, plus glow in the dark bracelets, and pixie sticks!!!! Did you post that somewhere on our thread? I must have missed it. Oh, well, can never have too much Glo stuff.

We use the Gloww bracelets/necklaces when we go to places like WDW often. If there are large crowds at night, they are fun AND really help you stay together

We actually bring them every time we go to a hotel and now on the cruise...it gets very dark in the room and my daughter uses it like a night light and I don't have to worry about finding an outlet to plug it in!

dthogue - it may have been to use as "costume" accessories for Mexicali night dinner/deck party...

Hi Carolyn1023 and Laurenk - We also got glow bracelets for the TorT. Our kids are really going to light up! I guess great minds thin alike!

Carole and Lauren, I think I'm just going to hand mine out at the sail away and stuff. I had bought them over a year ago to put on my dogs when we walk at night so that cars could see them. However, now that I moved I'm not on a dark road anymore. And by the time ToT rolls around these will be long dead.

carolyn1023, laurenk, carole88: Guess what I got for my TorT bags, glow bracelets the kind that you crack and they light up! Boy o boy our kids will be bright at night! At least we will know what kids are ours!

We took glow bracelets with us last year and had the BEST time at Mexicalli night....We sailed them from deck 10 onto deck 9 ...It wasgreat fun watching everyone try to figure out where they were coming from....
