Globespan pulling out of Stansted

Looks like Flyglobespan are closing their Stansted operations on 31st October.
Flights still showing on their web site but you cannot now book them.

Virgin were going to take over the new terminal at Stansted when it was compleated in the early 90's but it was promissed to Air UK who didnt last long as an airline so VA pulled out and went to Gatwick. So maybe its related to another inhouse deal......

American Airlines are using Stansted a lot more aren't they?
