I have read the disboards, but haven't seen what I need for info nor anything in the past year or so that is close.
We are going in Nov with our 5 and 3 yr old. In the past we have taken a sit and stand. Not doing that again as I hated the maneuverability and the 5 yr old is the one that likes to sit which didn't work out well. So we are planning on renting a stroller from Orlando Strollers and a glider board.
Has anyone rented a glider board? How well do they work? Which stroller do they work best on (city elite, city mini, etc.) Do we need to add the weight of the child on the glider to make sure we are within the weight capacity of the stroller? (So add the weight of both kids together?) Most likely it will be the 3 yr old standing as he likes to jump on and off and walk (he turns 3 during the trip.) DD is 50lbs and the weight for the glider is 45, so she most likely won't be using it anyway.
We really don't want to rent a double as 1. we don't want to deal with a double on and off the buses and 2. I rented a double at Disney last year when I took the kids to the MK by myself for the day and I ended up having to remove a child as they were hitting each other, the younger one was trying to bite the older one, etc. I think they will be much better this year, but not sure if I want to chance it. Plus dd is right at the 50lb weight for the double strollers.
Thanks!
