We woke up on our last day knowing that tonight we would be back home :sad1:

We got ready and wandered down for breakfast around 10 and then headed back to our room to pack and say goodbye. The rooms were all nice and in keeping with the ranch theme and I would definitely come back again.

We headed over to reception and checked out before going to baggage to hand in our case for them to look after for the day. We then took our last final walk through the ranch and along the river to the Parks and got there just after 11.

We went to the Studios and straight onto ToT due to the fact it had started raining. It had been threatening to do so all break so we were so glad of the last two days of sunshine that this wasn't going to spoil anything.

ToT wasn’t quite the same though when you had wind and rain coming through the doors at the top when it opened giving you no where to hide! :scared1:

The weather luckily cleared up after this onslaught and we only had a few brief showers thoughtout the rest of the day. As it brightened we decided to go and see Sully as the queues really were short

We then went round Crush with a 10 minute wait and then headed over to RnR to complete our trio of rides we do at the Studios every day. To our amazement we found Goofy on his own so we had a quick pic with him too and larked about with him a bit before a group gathered.

We decided that we would then see Animagique, as this was one of our favourite shows last year and it impressed again this time. I still find myself singing along when im in a dream world! la la la la la la..........animagique!

We then headed off to Disneyland, had a Hotdog meal and went around the park going on some rides, but mainly walking arond the shops and investigating a bit. We the looked around all the shops in Main Street before heading off to the seated area near the castle to watch the parade. :cloud9:

I got lots of great pics from here, my Fiancees' favourite one being of Belle and the Beast

We then followed the Parade and went along mainstreet with Mary Poppins and here it was far less crowded and had a great view of them dancing around

It made it such a shame to be leaving them. But it was such a great parade for me, but more important Cass as she loves Mary Poppins and Belle that we left the Park there and then. And headed off to ride Crush and ToT once or twice more before we headed off back to the hotel to pick up our stuff and close the safe at reception.

Last year we were unfortunate to be going just when the fire occured so this time going back was a brand new experience to us. We had a good trip back and we got home safe without a hitch. I had to help some poor women who had no help from anyone getting their stuff onboard though but I was happy too. Coach 1 has hardly any baggage space so avoid this coach if possible, I ended up carting some of their stuff to Coach 2 to fit it all on.

We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves, especially in the Cheyenne, we only hope we can go again one more time before our APs expire :guilty:

Thanks for reading, hope it has given you a Disney fix ! :wizard:

What a great trip report Glenn. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Glad that you liked the Cheyenne...I think it was worth the extra money over the Santa Fe hotel, in terms of looking at the hotel I think the SF is a bit dissapointing.

Hi Glenn!

What a brill trip report! sounds like you and Cassie had a fab time! and of course congrats to you both!!!:goodvibes
I must have been in Disney same time as you last year as we also were 'victims' of the tunnel fire!(not quite so funny at the time though!) so travelling home by a single train will be a new experience for us too!
