After not a to bad nights sleep we got up and headed over to Fantasyland for our GMFB
We got here late but still had no problem getting in and there was lots of bakery items still left which is all we wanted really. So we grabbed some OJ, Coffee and some Croisants and after putting some in our bag for the day. We headed out for some more fun. It certainly was good already being in the park for this and we enjoyed it.
We then went on the carosel for a quick go before heading off for Buzz and Space mountain. I got a new best score of 110,000 which i was impressed with and found the secret target in the dark tunnel on your left
We had a little more of a walk going on and off rides as we went and doing the compulsory shop thing too!
We had lunch in the Deli, going for a croque monsieur and croque madame and then headed off to find Minnies' Party Train. The parks weren't to crowded really at this time so the kids were getting lots of time with the character which was a nice time. We took a pic of ourselves in front of the train, Cassies' beingthe better pic here:
We went for a few more rides including Phantom Manor where we bumped into Capn'jack
and rode it together! He had a lovely family and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was good to say hi, and even short as it was, it was still a nice addition to the holiday. To see a fellow DISer enjoying some DLP time.
We headed over to the Studios to see the shows, we caught Stitch first which made us laugh, you forget how good it is
We then saw Cinemagique straight after which was good timing.
Time flew by and after a few more ride of RnR, Crush and ToT we waited to see Stars N Cars. It was quite a short parade, but we didn't realise they got out and danced at the end so we missed this
all this planning and yet i missed this!
still it enabled us to get out quickly and head over to the village as some really black clouds were threatening us at this point. Which was surporsing as it had been due to rain all week.
Because of the oncoming thunderstorm Annettes was queuing out the door and past the first car so we decided to have a drink or two first instead.
We headed over to Billy Bobs and managed to get a nice seat ourside undercover. We ordered some cocktails to celebrate our engagement and I paid the 3 euros extra per cocktail to get a special glass that we could keep. That was 21 euros in total but was worth it when looking at the prices of some glasses in the shops later.
They were really nice, Cassie had a Strawberry Colada and I had a Cactus Jack. After this and 1 or 2 other drinks we headed back to Annettes after the rain had finished and got shown to a table within 4 minutes. We got a proper sectioned this table that we could spread out on which was good and we had a nice view of all the skaters speeding around everywhere. How there aren't any accidents there i don't know!
We studied the menu and went for a Green Piece Burger and a Rock n Roll Burger with onion Rings as a side and both had Chocolate Milkshakes.
This meal was much better than our first last year and it really was yummy, the milkshake was really thick and filled us up. Its our favourite I think now and i'd certainly put it in my list next time to go again.
The menu also has some new addition too, so i will post these new menu choice in the appropriate section afterwards.
By this point we were so full up we didn't fancy anymore drink so we took a walk to the Santa Fe to see what it was like there and through the Sequioa Lodge too. After this we were glad we stayed at the Cheyenne as it felt a lot more Disney to us. Of course i know people will differ on this point but i suppose it depends really on what your after. After a nice long walk around and back beside the river to the Cheyenne we called it a night and got in about 12.30.
