Glennbo’s City, Sand, and Savanna PTR - TR Link (pg 73)

So glad your going to Potterland. Maybe someday we will make it there. Michelle is 21 and would still like to go, so I don't think your girls will outgrow it too soon.

Game Question - (and this should be an easy one) I've planned Dates, Resorts, and Park Days....where does my Planning attention go next? All of this rounds points will go to first person with the correct response.

Hmmmmm ... could it be .... perhaps ... "Dining"!!!!???? (I can hear the bells and whistles now, balloons dropping, confetti raining)

Dumb Question - Lauren asked me last night if she needs to take pictures on her New York City trip, to go along with the trip report. :faint: She's very happy to write about it, but isn't into taking pictures. So...if you'd like pictures with your trip report, please reply and let me know. (C'mon, let's overwhelm her with the sheer number of people who are eagerly awaiting to read and see her trip. ;))

I've been taught, "No such thing as dumb questions", but MAN, this is a dumb question ... YESSSSS!!!!!! It's a trip ... its a report ... we're addicted to pictures WITH our reports ... silly rabbit, pix are for ALL us kids (sorry, couldn't resist)

Of course we need pictures of NYC!!

I stink at games BUT pictures of the NYC trip are absolutely essential! As if there was any question. :confused3pftt. Get that camera out, batteries charged, memory card cleared, and ready to go.

Oh - and I'm not to proud to plead. :worship::worship::worship:

Dude! Pictures are a must from NYC!

Apparently I missed the boat on the spot the Judy game? Had no idea that started. Guess that's what I get for not hanging around here enough. The DIS has been so S-L-O-W lately. It's hard to stick around when the page takes forever to load :sad2:

Well seeing as I am tooooo late for the correct answer I would have given even if I wasn't beaten to it !!Of course its ADRs !!!
NYC and pix OF CORSE!! Sorry Lauren but we are not letting you off the hook on this !!!:rotfl2:

Sorry, Glenn. Even though I am in my last semester of my Psychology degree, I am not going to try and psychoanalyze your train of thought on trip planning. :rotfl:

I'm much to late to be in the running, but I'll play along anyway: ADRs!!!

Uh, YEEEEAAAHH!!! :rotfl:

Dang, Cynthia beat me!:goodvibes Oh and zero Judys...:rolleyes1

Oh my gosh. I don’t think I should give you credit for that….give me one good reason.

ADR planning is so fun!

I’n’t it though?

Dear Lauren, please take lots and lots and lots of pictures.:goodvibes I can't wait to read about your trip!:thumbsup2

That’s 2. :)

I am actually looking at doing some days at US/IoA on our upcoming trip. Still trying to plan when that might be around Matthew's potential time off before his ship deploys in July. The two youngest had already mentioned the HP stuff and just basically something different to do anyway.

Sounds good. You guys have explored WDW quite thoroughly by this point.

Understand your Pros and Cons, but crowds and ticket prices for one day are playing too much in my decision I guess.

Those are definitely BIG cons, I agree.

I am looking at staying the first two or three nights at a Universal related resort so we get the hour early entry benefit and also getting the multi-day passes so it at least doesn't "seem" that expensive per day.

See, that’s where they get ya. ;)

More time to let everyone tour the parks a little slower and hopefully get the full experience. Then we will move on to DVC and Disney the rest of the trip. At least it will save us some of our DVC points to maybe do a short trip around New Years again. :)

I may try it that way some time in the future also. We’ll see how it is with this one-day visit and gauge if we’d like to go back for a longer stay.

I certainly understand with the rest of your plans and extended family why you are going with your choice though for sure. I know that "how much longer will we be able to all go together as a family" feeling first-hand. Our trip last summer just didn't quite feel right being the first one without Matthew. :guilty: The funny thing is, when I mentioned to him about possibly doing Universal also while he can go with us, his response was "sounds like fun BUT.......after so many trips as a family spending so much time at Disney, it will probably feel strange taking that time away from the Disney parks." :confused3

Go figure!

I can't remember the details about your specific tickets, but if you have not used the tickets yet you may also want to investigate the possibility of adding park hopper or non expiration to them. You need to check on this before you use them to find out the specifics just in case.

They’re not used yet, and already have park hopper and non-expiration.

As for adding days to the tickets, we did this once before. After about five days the rates drop to about $3 or $4 dollars for each day added to a ticket (haven't looked at prices lately to see exact amount, but it is significantly lower than those first few days cost per day). However, when we did this a few summers ago, you had to actually use the tickets at least one day before you could upgrade them. As long as they weren't completely used up (at least one day's park entry still left on them), you could still add days to them.

I’ve read oodles of posts on the DIS that say to use them first or not to use them first, and I’m totally confused. It kind of feels like going out on a limb to use them first. Do you think the ticketing cast members know enough to tell me to use them first if I went and inquired before using them?

Well since I always forget to note any Judy sightings, at least I can take the easy one (due to pure luck and timing!)

I was kind of surprised that a west-coaster got it since I posted it during lunch.

Love the intro and can't wait to sign-up and catch-up (though it might be in reverse order).

Well, whatever the order :welcome: Rob!! I’m glad you’re here.

So glad your going to Potterland. Maybe someday we will make it there. Michelle is 21 and would still like to go, so I don't think your girls will outgrow it too soon.

Yeah, I think they’d still like it even if it isn’t for a few years before we get there, but I’m not sure how much longer we’ll all be able to travel together, so though we should get it in now. I hope you folks get there soon.

Hmmmmm ... could it be .... perhaps ... "Dining"!!!!???? (I can hear the bells and whistles now, balloons dropping, confetti raining)

That’s it! Now you just have to work on your timing.

That’s 3. And I love the retro-commercial reference!

PICTURES are a MUST!

That’s 4. And I agree.

Of course we need pictures of NYC!!

That’s 5. Of course we do!

Yes, need pictures of NYC. I think we need lots of pictures.

That’s 6, and a recommendation for quantity….large volumes, I like that.

I stink at games BUT pictures of the NYC trip are absolutely essential! As if there was any question. :confused3pftt. Get that camera out, batteries charged, memory card cleared, and ready to go.

Oh - and I'm not to proud to plead. :worship::worship::worship:

That’s 7, with some very nice begging thrown in for good measure.

Darn, dining was going to be my guess!!!

Oh, you woulda had it!

YES, of course we need pictures of their part of the trip!! :yay::laughing:

That’s 8. Thank you!

Pictures of NYC are definitely necessary!

That’s 9. (But don’t you see it every day?)

Yes we need pictures!!!

Hey lovegrumpy! :welcome: Thanks for joining in!

That’s 10. Double-digits is good!

I vote for pictures too!

That’s 11. Thanks for coming back to vote.

Dude! Pictures are a must from NYC!

I’ve been waiting a while to say this: :welcome: Jenbear!!!

That’s 12, Dudette.

Apparently I missed the boat on the spot the Judy game? Had no idea that started. Guess that's what I get for not hanging around here enough. The DIS has been so S-L-O-W lately. It's hard to stick around when the page takes forever to load :sad2:

I know, I know…it’s been absolutely miserable, so I completely understand. What’s also weird is that we have 2 pc’s at home and it works better for one than the other. I think the one has trouble loading the ads that appear on every page.

Well seeing as I am tooooo late for the correct answer I would have given even if I wasn't beaten to it !!Of course its ADRs !!!

I know you would have gotten it right – you guessed NYC.

NYC and pix OF CORSE!! Sorry Lauren but we are not letting you off the hook on this !!!:rotfl2:

That’s 13, and a big hook.

Sorry, Glenn. Even though I am in my last semester of my Psychology degree, I am not going to try and psychoanalyze your train of thought on trip planning. :rotfl:

But if you need a thesis project…..something to think about.

Pictures are an absolute must!!!!!

That’s 14, with an “absolute” emphasis.

Way late today but FOOD of course.

Yep, of course.

We want pics, We want pics

SMILEY_CAMERA.gif

That’s a smiley-reinforced 15.

Of course we want pictures of NYC!!

Maybe Lauren will find out that it can be a lot of fun to actually document a trip if she has to? :goodvibes

That’s 16. And you’re right, it could be habit-forming…look at me.

I'm much to late to be in the running, but I'll play along anyway: ADRs!!!

Correct! (Now, you didn’t look at anyone else’s answer did you?)

Uh, YEEEEAAAHH!!! :rotfl:

That’s 17, with attitude that comes through loud and clear! Yeah!

Here's another vote for pictures of the NYC trip!

That’s 18. Thanks for voting MissLiz!
