Glenda's September 2008 WDW Adventure!

I just wanted to stop by and tell everyone how much fun it was to meet so many of you, and to say I'm sorry that I missed quite a few! As I told Glenda, I sometimes forget how old I am and think I still have the energy to go 24/7 . I don't!

For those of you who are aware that I had family and friends in Ike's path, I'm pleased to report that everyone is safe. My DDIL's parents and grandmother lost windows and trees and were still without power yesterday. My DD, who lives 200 miles inland, lost a tree and was also still without power yesterday. Fortunately, we had a cool front come through right after the hurricane, so the heat isn't an issue. It was 72 degrees when I got off the plane in Austin mid-afternoon on Monday! It was the first time in a week I felt like I needed long sleeves!

Anybody up for an october weekend trip to Universal? Colleen and I are looking into oct 17th-19th. We want to see their holoween party. I found flight and universal hotel for under 700 a couple from buffalo.

hmmmmmmm I am off that weekend.. anybody else ???

The Divas got an extra day of magic thanks to Ike...
nothing in San Antonio but one of the Divas lives in Katy (outside Houston) and her kids are off school all this week! Weather has been beautiful since we've gotten back...it actually feels like fall

Right after rope drop??? That was us!!! We had our pale blue One Shoe Can Change Your Life shirts on!!!!

You could've looked for the toe bling if you weren't sure!

(BTW I was very disappointed with the French Toast loaf )

It seemed like my piece wasn't cooked/baked or something (raw?) I had never had it before so I don't have anything to compare it to...I was looking forward to it though from what I had heard about it here on the Disboards...

I never knew about HHN until this year, and it looks really cool. I know I can't this year though, no more vacation days and I'm saving money to hopefully get a new car either next year or the year after.

Well it's official, my office is closed for the day. Our entire server crashed and won't be back up today. This is great news, I'm going to spend this glorious day outside on a 4-wheeler finding mud puddles to jump in. It couldn't have come at a better time, I really need a vacation day...LOL

Nie... hows the ceiling bussiness I know you said ti will be look at Monday... I hope the damage is not getting worst.... make sure you avoid that area..

Nothing more has happened, so that's a plus. The landlord is coming Saturday morning. I've just been really busy with work, started going to the gym, and just haven't gotten to sit around like usual. I'm on my lunch break.. if it lasts long enough to count as one.
