My DH was scheduled to have his 4 mo. follow up visit with the oncologist this Thurs., the 9th. In fact, right now, he is having the CT scan done and the blood work. I keep thinking today that I should call them up and confirm his appointment. I NEVER do this............boy am I glad I did!! The receptionist couldn't find his appointment listed on the 9th and when she did a patient search, his appointment came up on the 16th!!
Turns out the doctor was supposed to be in on the 9th, but something came up some time ago and all the appointments were rescheduled. She wasn't sure why we weren't called.......and now is seriously wondering if anyone else still plans on coming in on the 9th!!
I really don't think we can wait another week for the CT results so I asked if they would at least call us when they received the faxed results...I have been so worried about this follow up visit and think if I had to wait another week, I'd have myself worried sick.
Here's praying for no lumps and no bumps!!

sending good vibes!
DH went to a local hospital to have his CT scan done today. His previous scans he had done at the hospital where he received his radiation. Well, the radiolody dept. called me and they want me to bring them a copy of the films from his past CTscans to compare it with. I asked if they would just accept a faxed report....nope...they need the films.
I told them it was easy...in the last CT scan, he had a lymph node...now he doesn't...no fuss, no muss!!
They didn't buy it........
Looks like I'll be heading to NJ tomorrow, then to the local hospital to drop off films........
