Glad I called to check on documents

We're leaving three weeks from tomorrow, and I have not received my documents yet, so I called to check. I'm glad I did.

They were apparently sent to the wrong address. (There was a mixup because since this trip was a Christmas surprise, I had originally given my work address and later had it switched to my home address.)

The CM told me that the documents would be sent out in a day or two and to call back if I don't have them within 14 days -- that will be one week before we go.

I'll feel better when I have them in hand.

Yes, having the docs in hand would be nice, but I've never even been asked for them when checking in. If you have your confirmation number and some kind of ID proving your identity, that is sufficient at check in.

What documents? I have always just used a photo ID and credit card to check in.

I'm looking for the Magical Express luggage tags, for example. I know I can probably work around this if they don't come, but it would make life easier.

They can also email you a confirmation that you are paid in full, we didnt receive ours in time for our Dec trip and they emailed me a confirmation that it was paid in full and all the other documents were at check in.
