Glad I bought the Land's End backpack last year...

After a year of being dragged through all kinds of weather, it still looks brand new!


I got a huge deal on it last summer, paying less that $15. This summer I'll add a lunch bag, too.

My DD is 23. I still have the one I bought for her for KINDERGARTEN and I still use it. I cant believe how long they last! She still has the one she used all through high school too. Well worth it at regular price. Great for you to get such a bargain! I'll need to keep my eyes peeled this summer.

My son just finished 10th grade. He used the same Lands end backpack for 9th and 10th grade. He had a ton of books and was very rough on it. It is still in great condition!!! Well worth the cost!

We have 2 of the pre-school size backpacks. I got them when my oldest two were 2 and 4 years old. They are now 10 and 12. They look brand new! I often use them for purses and we ALWAYS carry them into the parks and on trips as they make the perfect size for carrying a day's worth of stuff.

We also have a rolling backpack in regular size. It is holding up very well. My kids don't use a BP for school, so I can't comment on that, but I know they last FOREVER!

Great deal! I just looked at the Lands End site and all of them were at least double that price!

Our Costco has High Sierra backpacks for 15.99 right now, I got one for the kids' next school year and hope it holds up! Does anyone have this brand and do they wear well?

My kids HATE Lands End backpacks! Every year, we look at the backpack, I say that it looks just fine, and NO, we're not getting a new one until the old one wears out.

I got a great deal on the Land's End backpacks last year too! Both of my ds's backpacks and lunch box look brand new after one year. Well worth the money even if you paid full price! No more buying a new backpack and lunch box every year.

I am normally a LLBean gal when it comes to tote and duffel bags, but I think the Land's End backpacks are better!

When DD started preschool, I ordered her a Bean jr backpack that matches her pink duffel bags. We tried several bags, every one the zipper got caught in the trim! I gave up and got the Land's End one. The LE is not only durable, it is also has more pockets and the side pouches for a water bottle, etc. She has now had it 2 years and still looks perfect.

When I was pregnant my DH got the L.E. diaper bag backpack as a gift. Hands down the best travel backpack! DD is long out of diapers and we still use it as our Disney bag. Inside is a light color so easy to find stuff, storage and pockets galore and where the changing pad is stored we now put in Disney maps, etc...

Dd's is going on 4 years now, I throw it in the washer once in a while but it looks great! (She is sick of it but I am NOT buying another piece of junk!) Very glad I heard about them on the Dis Budget board!

I bought my son one 2 school years ago and it still looks brand new. He'll start kindergarten this year with it and he still loves it.
