I'm not usually one that likes the holidays to finish but today I was glad to see the kids back at school.

It feels like it was a very long 2 weeks, full of illness. First oldest DS had a muscle spasm in his neck and couldn't move for 2 days. Then youngest DS had an asthma attack. Then everyone had a sickness bug which floored us all for a few days. The easter eggs still remain in the boxes unopened

It wasn't all gloom and doom, we did go away to the inlaws and then down to a family wedding which had a very disney theme to it:lovestruc.

im glad you managed to have some fun  our kids don't go back to school until Monday :scared1:

What a nightmare it's been for you this easter break .
At least the trip to your inlaws went well and the wedding :thumbsup2

Glad you managed to have some fun :)
Our's dont go back till Monday either :goodvibes

I know ours have gone back so early. Luckily we were away the week before easter if not we would have been travelling home on easter monday which is no fun.

Now we have the long stretch before the summer holidays, 2nd July, as we have no half term.

our are not back to Monday either
2 weeks is a long time , wish they went back to 1 week at Easter and give the other week back to the Summer holidays

our break up 25th june i think

I'm glad you had some fun over the Easter break. My girls haven't driven me mad yet (thankfully ;) ) and they go back next Tuesday :)

Where in Scotland are you, i'm in Dundee and our don't go back until Tuesday.

We also have to wait until July for the next holiday although they do get a long weekend in May.

DD10 has been ill over Easter , I think she has Scarlet Fever but the Dr tells me she doesn't, I don't believe him :sad2:

I'm north of Inverness. We get may day off and thats all.

My kids had scarlet fever last summer and it was awful. Loads of people at school got it too. Hope she feels better soon

its always fun, but you do feel that you need a rest afterwards :)

Sorry to hear you've had a horrid half term - glad you had some family fun in the end though:thumbsup2

Wow, that sounds a bit scary. Hope DD is all better soon.

I do agree, by the end of the holiday I do feel a bit over exposed to my girls;) and although they don't go back until monday we've had a great half term so far, it's always eldest DD's birthday over easter hols so thats a perk.
We have a half term at the end of May when we're off to DLRP for a week before they break up the third week of July for summer:cool1: I must admit I love the holidays for the lack of "timetable". I love the break from the school runs, the constant after school activities and, what feel like, endless swimming lessons etc. and I love the lie-ins!

mine go back on monday and that will be 2 1/2 weeks for easter. last year they also got a week in may, this year they are getting a few days. they finish 30th june for 9weeks:sad2: we go to florida 2weeks before then so all together they get 11 weeks:scared1: oh well first two weeks will be great fun after that:eek: they r gonna be soooo bored.
