GKTW Transportation Thread

Are you going with us to Give Kids the World on Saturday, December 12?

If you are not sure - check out this thread for more information about the actual event!

We are super excited to have the opportunity to hang out at such a magical place!

Give Kids the World is about 20 minutes or so from Disney Property. It is down 192 - not a terribly long drive, but there are quite a few stop lights.

We will work out transportation issues on this thread...

Do you need a ride? If so - you found the right place!
Do you HAVE a ride and want to provide a ride to others? If so - you also found the right thread!


When you post, please provide me the following information and I can organize this and try to make sure we all have a way to get to GKTW!

Please provide:

User Name
First Name (for each passenger, please)
Resort where you are staying
Whether you NEED a ride or can PROVIDE a ride?
Are you willing to split a cab with someone?

** I forgot something - Also please let us know if you are returning to somewhere other than your resort! For example, I am returning to Epcot, not my resort.

Then I can list each person providing a ride and "fill up" the vehicle with folks that are staying at the resort.

Then we can pinpoint how many of us are left that need a ride and hopefully fill up some cabs so we can save some money!

Hope that helps! That is a good idea! There is also a shuttle...?? I may call GKTW and ask if we could catch a shuttle of some kind?

I'd love to go back to the resort for a nap, but since I'm probably going to get lunch first anyway I can go anywhere after and catch a bus back to the hotel. I'm really flexible if someone just points me in the right direction

I am seriosuly considering volunteering, but will have a need for transportation.

Hi guys!

I won't be attending this event any longer, as I won't be at DAP that weekend.

But I will still organize transportation, unless someone else wants to do it.

I can just pair you guys up and you guys can exchange numbers, etc so you can make sure and meet up.


It would be helpful to know how many folks need transportation by December 1, so that we have time to exchange information. Even Nov 15 would be great!

Update from my previous post: I will be doing a DISmeet for Tea at the GF that afternoon. So, I can probably drive people back to anywhere they like on property.
