Giving someone our BOG reservation

We are traveling the same time as another group of our family members. We have different last names, but when I called the dining reservations number about transferring the reservation to their name, the CM said that at BOG only, they didn't need the reservation transferred...just have our relatives give our name. That is fine with me, but once I hung up, I realized that it is a PPO dining reservation. I've never had a PPO reservation but from what I've read, you give your name at the entrance and once they verify your name on the list, they let you through the turnstile. Will it work for our relatives to give our name at the entrance to get in as well as at the restaurant?

Yes. They will be fine. They don't attach to Magic Band or card at all.

They scanned our magic bands for both of our PPO breakfasts there, so I'm not sure if this works.

Can you add them to your MDE account? Then you go change the names yourself.

If I add them in my MDE account and then change it to their names, then can I unconnect us? It makes me nervous to connect to people in the MDE because I feel like I keep reading about people accidently deleting other's fastpasses or ADRs?
