We have 2-2 bedrooms booked for Dec. There will be 12 adults and 2 infants. MS said they need the names of which guests are in which room but we're not sure? My sister and BIL may not be able to come and not sure the room assignments yet. When will I need to give this info and then do I have to alert them if it changes?

When we checked in Christmas Day we were asked the names (again). I assume you can make any needed changes at that time. DVC now prints individual key cards (with the person's name on it) instead of the same name on all cards. (DW used to hate it when MY name was on each card - she wanted her name on hers! Everyone was SO excied to have their own card this last trip. :hyper: )

I made a reservation for next October that I'm hoping to take my aunt. She hasn't committed to it yet, so when I made the reservation I didn't give them the second name when they asked. It wasn't a problem. With 12 people, I would do it ahead of time so that you don't waste time at the front desk.

You can actually tell them at the desk during check-in, however it would be much easier on you to have it arranged beforehand. We just got back and added my sister who traveled with us right during check-in. It was no problem at all.

You can add/drop/change names when you need to. Also, if you are using Magical Express you will need to give them names AND flight info before your trip.

Please give MS the names ahead of time - those who end up behind you in the check in line will be very grateful.

Best wishes -

Just a note on this, and I don't know how everyone else feels about it, but I refused to give the childrens' names on our last trip. We had four with us and they ranged in age from 7-12, so we let them have their key cards so they could go get ice, go to the playground, etc. when we were in the room. The two youngest wore them on the lanyard around their neck. Well, I didn't want some stranger seeing their names and saying "Mommy said come with me." So I told them to just put child 1, 2, 3 & 4. The kids were totally fine with it and I felt better.

Anybody else think that's crazy?
