Given the current state of the park is 4 billion even near enough?

I was out at the park today and took these pictures, I have to say the amount of disrepair is embarrassing. They have clearly reached the point where they are happy just to count our money hand over fist and not reinvest in the park. Take a look at how sad this is...

Okay all kidding aside I was not at the park (wish I was but not at THIS version...) but could not help but to share this amazing post apocalyptic Disney creation. I LOVE to see the effects of nature on abandoned buildings and this blows my mind. It is clearly not real and provides some levity of what could be. Props to the original artist of these pictures, it is AMAZING what people can do in Photoshop. I could not help but to share. I hope you all enjoy, don't let it scare you bu here is the link to the work and how they did it.

From what I've heard, I thought these were pics of DL-Paris. :smooth:

You're so funny!

I love the work in those pictures. Just imagine! :scared:

When I was in 9th grade for a paper in English class I wrote about a group of kids wandering through an abandoned Walt Disney world. This describes that pretty well.

I can not see them closing any park to work on it. So the work will be done at night, close sections of the park ? This is going to take years and years to complete the work

What are you talking about? These are fake photos that someone made as a joke.

This gave me a good laugh, I saw these floating around on facebook yesterday, these are pretty interesting.

Awesome pics, it's cool to see a post apocalyptic version of Disney World. Hopefully it never gets like this though. I'd love to see what zombiefied versions of the characters would look like. They wouldn't need much makeup for the Country Bears, they already freak people out.

Haha, I've got a weird sense of humor. I just laughed when I thought of a kid running away from a Country Bear.

I wish they would reopen River Country and give it as a free add on to Fort Wilderness. A prime location like this shouldn't be wasted.

I have only seen pictures of the place but of the ones I have seen I would be left to wonder if the entire facility is now too far gone to be revived. The amount of decay is insane, I have a feeling the heat and humidity have done their work on the place. The entire Florida area would not stand up well in abandonment.

You maybe right, it does look really dilapidated. I'm sure Disney could clean it up though, they created a whole lake.

We generally stay at FW. There is a bike/hike trail that runs to WL and goes past the old RC site. It is quickly being consumed. I've rented the boats from FW and you can get fairly close on the lake side. The decay is even more impressive. You can make out the major parts, but there's no resurrecting without some big bull dozers and lots of $$.
