Hi  ,

We are hoping to go to Florida again in October next year for the halloween celebrations, but are thinking of booking a villa rather than staying in a resort.

We have seen many and one of the particularly nice ones was in Crescent Lakes. However, there are villas everywhere aren't there?!

Please could you give me the BEST LOCATIONS for closeness to WDW/Universal/H192

Thanks in advance!

Richard :)

Richard,
Really depends on which side of Disney you prefer to stay.

The East side was always favoured in the past but the West is now the upcoming area. Both sides have good restuarants and shops but I would say that if you want the bigger stores and you shop a lot, that the East is slightly better.

There is very little difference in travel times to Disney but the East side has the advantage in regard to Universal.

Here's my list of favoured communities :

West:

Sunset Lakes, Rolling Hills, Indian Creek, Formosa Gdns, Oak Island, Lindfields, Indian Creek, Windsor Palms.

East:

Cumbrian Lakes, Eagle Pointe, Liberty Village, Indian Point, Montego Bay, Lake Berkley, Chatham Park, Hamilton's Reserve.
