Ok, here is my game plan for the Magic Kingdom for the last week in February. 2 Adults, a 12 and 10-year-old in tow.

Am I trying to accomplish too much or not?:scratchin

8:00-park opening

8:10-arrival

8:10-10:30

Space Mountain x2
Big Thunder x2
Splash Mountain- if not too cold
POC
Jungle Cruise
Haunted Mansion
Small World
Phillharmagic
Pooh
Mad Tea Party
Dumbo
Barnstormer

10:30- SDMTrain-FP+
10:45- Peter Pan-FP+

11:30-12:30- hopefully lunch with a BOG FP

1:00- Big Thunder-FP+

Leave around 2:00.

Probably a little too optimistic from 8-10:30. Not because of ride times (in feb, ride times should be pretty minimal) but more about time to simply get from place to place, people getting tired, etc.

I do think by early afternoon, without something unexpected, you could get most of your list done.

trying to accomplish too much.

in 2hrs20mins you want to do 12 attractions and want to go on 2 of them twice so 14 attractions really.
does that seem realistic to YOU especially considering what some of those attractions are?

and with children ages 10 and 12 they may be resistant to hustle like crazy crisscrossing the park.

and if you ARRIVE at 8:10am you won't even have 2hrs20mins cuz you have to get to whatever attraction you want to start with.

I'd plan on arriving at about 7:45am so that you can enter and be ready for RD and only do about half of those things in that amount of time.

also you can't overlap fastpasses so if you had a fastpass for 7DMT from 10:30am-11:30am you could not make a fastpass for peter pan for 10:45am-11:45am.

I agree Your morning is way to aggressive. MK is very big and you are criss crossing to various attractions. Plus wait times, although not horrible, will eat up time
Good Luck

Is there a reason you need to leave at 2:00? You'll miss the Festival of Fantasy parade at 3:00 which your kids would probably enjoy.

Philharmagic, itself, takes up quite a bit of time. The 14 attractions is much too ambitious even if you got to MK well before rope drop.

I think you're trying to plan too much in the morning. One thing I recommend doing is going on Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean, and Jungle Cruise first thing in the morning. The lines are much shorter then than they are later in the day. Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc. will have long line all day long.

Not enough time between your first chunk of rides and your first FP. Plus you have your family doing a lot of criss crossing around the park. I think you might fit in up to Jungle Cruise, but that is it. It will take you over an hour to get to the Splash Mountain portion of your day.

It's simply that what you have planned between 8-1030 isn't feasible. Pirates and Small World are 10+ minute rides, it would take about 30 minutes to ride Space Mountain twice (between walking in, boarding, riding, exiting and reboarding), Splash is a 10+ minute ride, etc. I think you can probably accomplish half of what you have planned. I'd got with Space Mtn. once, then head over to Pooh, then Haunted Mansion, then Big Thunder, then Splash, then Pirates then, Jungle Cruise. That is probably 2 hours. You can ride Small World after this. With the age of your kids I'd skip Dumbo and Barnstormer. Philharmagic (which is a 20 minute commitment) is great but can be done later in the day.

I think you're trying to plan to much between 8:10 and 10:30. The wait times for all the mountains and jungle cruise can get quite long alot of the time and you could be waiting a good chunk of time. You might want to allow more time in the morning or allow more time later in the day all your other plans look fine although

Definitely plan to arrive before park opening. You should be at the gates at least 15-20 minutes before the park opens. If you don't arrive until 8:10, you will be behind all the people who got there for rope drop. Have you tried plugging in your attractions in the personalized Touring Plans site? It's free-- you just need to create a free account if you don't have one already. The site will let you know how long it will probably take to do the attractions you have listed.

Thanks so much for the feedback!!! I will go back to the drawing board. I already have the FP+s locked in so I will still work with those. But I will give the schedule a overhaul and let you guys critique it again. Once again, thanks for the feedback!
