We have a finished basement and one of the rooms is the kid's toyroom. I really want to paint it and fix up a little nicer for Christmas but there is ZERO ventilation in that room, Is there any kind of paint that could be used?

I did a room like that once. We had a fan at the doorway to draw out the unvented air into a room that had ventilation. We also had a fan within the room itself. I hope that helps!

We repainted our entire basement this summer. I had two fans on downstairs and the house wide open up stairs. It really wasn't that bad, but I'm not sure I would wnat to do it in cold weather when no windows can be open. What a difference a fresh coat of paint can make!

. Ask the paint guy for a low violtile emissions paint... to keep the vapors down.. Check Consumer Reports annual buying guide available in the public libary. on the ratings of paint. Use a fan and take frequent breaks. Do not use anytype of mask, because you will be re- breathing in concertrated fumes!!!!! You can pass out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT WAER A MASK!!! YOU WILL RE_BREATH CONCERTRATED FUMES>> YOU MAY PASS OUT>> ASK THE PAINT DEALER FOR A LOW VIOTILE EMISSION PAINT!!!!
