Give Kids The World Village

Hi, can anyone tell me their experience staying at Give Kids The World through a wish organization? We just found out we were approved for a wish through Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. The planner I spoke with told me about this place and it looks great! Just wondering how you found the accommodations, food, shuttle service. I read on the site they give you a 3 day park hopper and then tickets for sea world and universal. We are only interested in Disney and would like to go the parks each day of the week long trip. Has anyone done this? We meet with the planner later in the week but I'm just curious on your families' experiences. Thank you!

you will love Give Kids The World. your villa will have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms plus a sleeper sofa in the living room. full kitchen. breakfast and dinner at main dining area with lots of indoor seating. lunch is pickup and take to your villa. when we were there you could order pizza delivered to your villa in the evenings. other than buying your own tickets and genie pass would not help you then not sure how you can just go to Disney. check the schedule for character visits and special activities at the village. has been a number of years but I was along on 2 grandsons Wish trips. hope this answers some of your questions. one thing I forgot any picture taking will have an "angel" offering so all of you can be in pics. also bring an extra suitcase to carry home everything you get and I am not talking about anything you buy. I hear it's a fantastic place, and in addition to your time at the various parks you should be sure to make time to enjoy the Village activities as well.

We were guests at GKTW Village in July. It was a-ma-zing! We used WDW and Universal park tickets. We took a day trip to Clearwater for the beach. The volunteers and staff at GKTW will make you want to stay forever. We were so spoiled. The DisABILITIES board thread posted above was wonderful for helping me plan our trip. You will want an empty bag to bring home your gifts from GKTW. The Gift Fairy stops by each day with presents for the children. I had worried that my teens would be bored, but they loved the village.
