Give Kids the World lodging

Hello all!

My nephew is getting a trip through Make-A-Wish and we would like to go down they same time they are.

Don't they house the Make-A-Wish recipients in a special area?

Could you tell me where it is located so we will be able to coordinate our plans/reservations? We will be on-site at POFQ.

I have no idea where it is located, if it is even on-site.

Many kids on MAW trips stay at Give Kids The World Village.
It's near WDW, but not actually on the Disney property. You will find information (including links) on post #3 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Go towards the bottom of post #3, and you will find a number of links to Wish trips, including a link to the Give Kids the World website.

Can you get the itinerary from your nephew's parents? It should have all the information needed, including travel dates and address/phone number for the lodging.

This is wonderful for your family! Congrats on the wish granted and I hope you all get to go at the same time.

If you go into MapQuest (or similar) and look for Bass Road and Creekside Blvd in Kissimmee FL you will see GKTW Village on the left side of Bass Road. it would be about 15 minues from PO.

Give Kids the World/Make a Wish takes care of transportation; they don't have to do anything.

They will have transportation provided. However, if you want to go to GKTW from WDW to visit them there you will have to provide your own transportation.
